did you get black or white? does it weight less than your 888?

post some pics up!

i'll be at Tamarack; should be a good race. i hope it's not a 7 min course this year. you missed out sunday; it was prime. it rained saturday so there was no dust and it somewhat tacky

meathooker wrote
July 29, 2008 at 12:08
in the past they have been sketchy on the lifts; one year they did and another they didn't. it's been a couple of years since i've been there on a friday so things may have changed???

i have my daughter and i can't get her until 6; so if we do head over friday it'll be late. More than likely we'll get up early sat and drive over; probably leave around 5 or 6am.

yeah i'll have it in the trailer for you.

are you going up friday or saturday morning?

meathooker wrote

did you get your 888 back?

my bikes got back yesterday from ny. looks to be in one piece!

meathooker wrote
July 23, 2008 at 6:36
yeah, the full course. i had a marzocchi DJ2 on the front. my 6.?? minute run was with a single speed set up for urban, so it might as well have been chainless and i went over the bars twice.

i think my best time on a fully was 5:12. i almost always flat at that race though, so my times are pretty inconsistant.

I just bought one or I would have bought yours--if you don't mind me asking, What happened to yours because I have been a little bit leary of getting an air sprung fork--I currently have the rc3 model

I might be able to be there--having two knee surgeries so I am out this year but yeah I would be interested in getting those parts--I actually have a new v10 frame on order should be here in a month or two. I want to build it light--right now I have a judge and it weighs in at 45 lbs--I ride the new rc3 so I guess I would be interested to see what price you could give me on an ata--I also want to go tubeless I have been trying to decide on different hub/rim combos--what do you think about the new 823's with hope, chris king or hadley?

meathooker wrote

none of the other guys are going to the race so i'm bagging out, don't see a need to drive 5 hours to race my self. so there's 4 of us going to deer valley, interested in going in on a condo with us? between 6 of us it might be pretty affordable
